Much of my research focuses on the role on electoral competition and legislative representation in the United States and political parties, with some of this work receiving media coverage. Given my role as a former U.S. Senate staffer focusing on legislative procedural reform, as a part of my 2019-2020 APSA Congressional Fellows, I have also provided interview commentary on the current state and future prospects of procedural (filibuster) reform in the contemporary Senate.
